Iceland is open and safe
• Flight Schedule: All flights to and from Iceland are operating. . The Keflavik International Airport is fully functional, and there are no disruptions to air travel cause by the volcanic eruption.
• Safety Measures: The eruption is occurring in areas away from major population centres such as Reykjavik. Grindavík and Svartsengi are not in the direct path of the lava flows, ensuring the safety of those locations and our mutual clients.
• Eruption Status: The volcanic activity is already diminishing, and authorities are actively monitoring the situation. Iceland has a robust infrastructure in place to handle such natural events, and your safety is our top priority.
Travellers have the amazing opportunity to witness the eruption on their transfers to and from Keflavik International Airport!
Life carries on as normal in Reykjavik and almost all of Iceland. Restaurants, Bars and Tourist Attractions in the city are open as normal.
The tours are running as normal except those to the Blue Lagoon which is closed until the 28th December 2023 and those to the Reykjanes Peninsula.
