Much fun was had pizza making with our friends at @icanandiam on their incredible double decker bus.
We’ve supported I Can & I Am for many years now and love the work they do enabling young people to build confidence and self belief.
A session on the bus involves pizza making and informal chat downstairs before heading up to the top deck for workshops in building self belief and resilience. It sounded so good we thought we’d have a go too! So a couple of weeks ago, the Sweet Chariot team climbed aboard for what was a truly inspiring – and incredibly fun – day.

I Can’s message focuses on what children and young people CAN do and building self belief in young people is crucial to their long term positive mental health.

Sounds like Elstree School had a great week in Jersey over February half term!
Always a pleasure to know that pupils (and teachers) enjoyed their trip booked with Sweet Chariot Tours!
“What a Tour!
Last week Messrs Williams, Attwood and Parks took 17 boys to Jersey for the Boys’ Rugby Tour.
On arrival, they enjoyed a fish and chips lunch on the beach followed by a game of American football.
In the morning, the boys were excited to train at Jersey Rugby Club, honing their skills before a thrilling match. Post-match analysis took place over pizzas to celebrate Henry’s birthday 🥳 The whole team enjoyed a visit to Aquasplash before heading back to the hotel to watch England v Wales on the big screen.
The Sunday morning fixture was against Jersey Reds who kept the Elstree Tourists on their toes. Despite the windy conditions, the boys managed some expansive rugby and their teamwork and camaraderie were a joy to witness.
After some ten-pin bowling, the Tourists headed back home rather jaded but having enjoyed a fantastic time. Well done boys for being such great company and to Monty for being a sterling captain. A huge thank you to our hosts in Jersey, our sponsors and the school staff for going out of their way to make it such a fun and memorable trip. 🙌🏉😎”
