We’ll be casting off on the second leg of our Round Britain Jubilee Voyage on 11th June from Brighton. We’ll be visiting some fascinating coastal ports over the course of the 9-day cruise including Margate Harbour and the Turner Contemporary gallery, after a full day’s sailing the previous day to Dover.

Onwards to Whitstable where there will be plenty of time for a walk along the beach and of course…oysters!

Other highlights of this leg include a visit to the historic dockyard and rope walk at Chatham, following the Thames Match at Gravesend - the second oldest sailing race in the world exclusively for Thames barges, and a cruise up the Thames to Limehouse.

The first leg of our Round Britain Jubilee Voyage on our spritsail sailing barge, taking place 1st – 8th June, takes us up the English Channel over the course of seven days from Plymouth to Eastbourne. We call this one of our ‘wilderness cruises’ as you really get to see the British coast in all its glory.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We’ll be catching the tide across Bigbury Bay and Start Point lighthouse before mooring in historic Dartmouth at the end of the first day to watch the Jubilee fireworks and beacon lighting.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We’ll also be dolphin watching in Lyme Bay, admiring the spectacular Jurassic Coast from the unique perspective of the boat deck, not forgetting a stop at the stunning Studland Bay for a sea swim and beach BBQ, visiting a seafood and music festival at Poole Quay, experiencing the yacht clubs and pubs of Cowes, sailing around Seven Sisters and Beachy Head after a night in Brighton Marina, before reaching our final destination in Eastbourne.

Guests can look forward to beach BBQs at sunset, cliff-top walks with spectacular views, sea swimming, museum and gallery visits, joining in with local gigs and festivals, and depending on the date – celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
