Nicole loves spending time outdoors. You’ll often find her paddle boarding, strolling along the beach, or swimming in the sea. She also has a passion for travel, exploring new places on a good city break.

🎉 Fun fact: Nicole used to be a competitive swimmer and runner, representing Devon in both sports.

Situ recently took part in the UN Global Compact's "Raise the Flag for SDG" Day, celebrating the Sustainable Development Goals!

As part of our commitment to a sustainable future, we upcycled plastic bottles into creative plant pots. The fun activity supported key SDGs, including Responsible Consumption, Climate Action, and Life on Land. It was an exciting day filled with crafting, teamwork, and action towards a greener planet! ♻️🌏

The Situ team went full dino-mode last week! 🦖
We took on the challenge of Taylor Lewis' 'It's a Knockout 2024', and what a wild ride it was!

We had a T-rex-cellent time raising money for Campaign Against Living Miserably. CALM’s mission to prevent su***de and support mental health is something we’re passionate about. This event gave us the chance to come together with other local businesses, have fun, and contribute to a cause that saves lives. 💙

Dressed as the fiercest dinos around, Team Situ-saurus not only tackled the inflatables and foam-filled fun, but also won the Best Dressed award! 🎉

This is Jacob Berry, he's a Business Development Executive here at Situ. He’s fantastic at building relationships and making each and every client feel supported. With Jacob on your side, you can count on friendly support and brilliant service every time!

Outside of work, Jacob enjoys watching and attending football matches, as well as spending quality time with his family exploring the beautiful South West.

Jacob and his dad try to attend a new sporting event each month! They recently watched speedway in Poole and are gearing up for some banger racing next month.

Our very own Conar Pearson is gearing up to run the Berlin Marathon at the end of September, all in support of Rethink Mental Illness, a leading charity provider of mental health services in England.

As part of his fundraising efforts, Conar cooked up a feast for our hungry Situ'ers – what better way to squeeze in some last-minute marathon practice than by running around a kitchen all morning?

Not only did he impress us with his excellent cooking, but his sparkling apron was a real showstopper as well.

Best of luck in Berlin, Conar – we'll be cheering you on every step of the way!

Our US-based Situ’ers, Kristen and Adam, are visiting us at our HQ in Exeter, so what better way to welcome them than with a classic cream tea?

It’s always a treat to have our Situ’ers from afar in Devon, especially when we can introduce them to a local delicacy!

Note: After very careful consideration, Kristen preferred the Devon orientation of jam and cream, while Adam enjoyed an interesting sandwich-style method.

Scott is a bowls player, taking his game both indoors during the winter and outdoors in the summer, nothing will stop him from playing. He’s even snagged national titles and proudly represented England!

As part of this exciting collaboration, Situ has been recognised as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in corporate accommodation, and we have provided a comprehensive course, ‘Mastering Corporate Accommodation for Employee Relocations’, to the MyGMPD learning platform.

Surf’s up!

Each quarter, we have the pleasure of rewarding a few exceptional Situ’ers for their hard work with an away day. This time, our winners headed to The Wave, an inland surfing experience in Bristol, for a day of sunshine, team building, and falling off surfboards.

The day went swimmingly, and by low tide our Situ’ers were sad to wave Bristol goodbye.

Our quarterly awards highlight the incredible dedication our team pours into their work, every single day. They aren’t just coasting through, they’re making waves.

We have expanded our accommodation locations! 🏠 🌏

Back in November we brought you some exciting news – Situ’s acquisition of the complete technology stack of the short/mid-term rental software company, Rentivo.

Since the announcement, our team has been hard at work integrating this technology into our existing systems. Spearheading the effort is Technical Lead, Sam Vaughton, who came on board to connect Situ’s extensive global accommodation network with partners in the professionally operated short/mid-term rental sector.

Today, our Situ’ers were offered goodie bags containing two scones, Devon clotted cream, strawberry jam, and a teabag in exchange for a small donation as part of FORCE Cancer Charity’s annual Cream Teas for Cancer fundraiser.

FORCE is a local charity that works hard to support cancer patients in our home county of Devon. Each donation will go towards supporting the important work this charity undertakes. A massive thank you to FORCE for all the fantastic work you do, as well as the delicious scones you provide.

Note: As a Devon-based company, team Situ’s scone opinions can be rather strong. Therefore, following the arrival of these tasty treats, a poll was quickly started to determine the correct orientation of jam and cream. Debates were had, judgements were questioned… but the results are in. See below.
