Welcome to our very cosy cottage, situated in the heart of the friendly ancient wool town of Chudleigh.
The property is within Old Tannery Mews which is a lovely little cul-de-sac - a bit of a hidden gem.
This captivating and charming town has a vast history dating back over thousands of years. Prehistoric remains have been found in the caves at Rock, while an Iron Age hillfort overlooks the pretty town. Today the town of Chudleigh is thriving and is an ideal base for your holiday if you want to explore the region of South Devon. There are a surprising array of shops a very short walk away including cafés, nail bars, hairdresser's, quirky shops and a fabulous pub called Bishop Lacy. The restaurant and takeaway food is excellent. The landlord and head chef is Rob - he is a self confessed curry geek and makes them from the raw ingredients. People come to Chudleigh for these alone!
Chudleigh also offers two play parks and an outdoor pool within a short walking distance from us.
There are many lovely country walks around and you have easy access to the raw beauty of Dartmoor National Park
Fun fact: The town's name is spoofed as "Chudley" in the Harry Potter books. The Chudley Cannons are one of only thirteen Quidditch teams!

There is free high speed WiFi which covers the whole property.
Living room/dinner
Has soft seating and TV. There is a Chromecast attached to the TV so you can stream.
It is this living room which can also double as the 6th person's bedroom. One of the sofas is a sofa bed and we have an extra day bed which flattens into a single bed. Alternatively we can provide an inflatable mattress.
There is a dining table that seats 6.
Kitchen:
Newly fitted kitchen providing two electric Neff ovens, gas hob, 2 fridge's and fridge freezer, microwave, plus all the pots, pans, tins, sharp knives, cutlery, plates and glasses that you might need and full size dishwasher.
Down stairs WC:
Compromising of, washer, toilet and basin.
Bedroom 1:
The larger room has a King size bed and there is also a long work-space.
There is plenty of hanging space as well as drawers.
Bedroom 2:
Has a Queen size bed and lots of storage.
Bathroom:
The bathroom is newly refurbished and has a large bath with an electric shower over it.
Car Charge:
You can plug your electric vehicle in to charge using the Rolec Universal Electric Vehicle Charge point. Please bring your own cables as we do not supply them.
Guest access:
All areas within the property are for your use. Booking the property makes the whole property private to you during your stay.
Although there is a back yard unfortunately this is only a fire escape and can not be used as it belongs to the neighbor.
