Many congratulations to Alicia Hempleman-Adams, a British adventurer, who has set two hot air ballooning world records during a single solo flight in Canada. She flew across Calgary province & into Saskatchewan. She landed on Nov 22nd after 7 hours & 40 minutes. An amazing achievement! Very proud of you Alicia!👏👏👏

In 2014 Clive Bailey filmed Glorious Gardens From Above for BBC1 with the gardener/ presenter Christine Walkden. There were 15 episodes with 12 from one of our balloons. With a bit of luck & a great deal of determination all 12 locations were filmed over that Summer! One of our wonderful pilots @PeterGregory is also a competition pilot & last weekend he won the British Grandprix held at Uttoxeter racecourse. Winning 6/10 tasks with 4 drops of less than 1 metre. This was the first competition that he flew in a balloon that he had just finished building himself last month! OOK AT THE SKIES OVER BRISTOL THIS MORNING 👀 We are flying with over 45 other balloons ascending from Ashton Court to do a fly past over Bristol as part of the Bristol Balloon Fiesta, which had to be cancelled this year. The location was kept secret until 4 am for even the balloon pilots to avoid any crowds are gathering for safety reasons. Watch on BBC Breakfast for more footage.
