We just had a brilliant 10 day family holiday with many precious memories made.

Activities at Devon Cliffs

There are so many outdoor to try whilst on holidays.

Today the kids enjoyed a session at the giant inflatables.
There are two choices: children aged 4-7 years and 8-16 years.

Activities are bookable on the app or from the leisure desk when on site.

Another great few days away have come to an end and many more family memories made.

Our home from home is all set up and ready for the next family to make theirs.

Today we took a day trip out to the Dartington Estate.

I had never heard of it but it was recommended as a fab place to find wild garlic which is in season now.

And wow, I was not disappointed. Seas and seas of wild garlic to delight any fan. We picked two zip lock bags full to make some more goodies when we get home.

We took a stroll from the car park to the cafe where we picked up a map to get out bearings and then followed the signs for the Deer Park. We spotted a large herd of deer thoroughly enjoying the sunshine. We took the long route around which led us past some informative signs into the woodlands and brought us out at the banks of the river dart.
Due to the recent heavy rainfall it was pretty muddy underfoot, so please come appropriately dressed.

Looping back to the car park we came across a small but interesting playground across from the White Hart pub. There is also a hotel to stay in overnight as well as the formal grade 2* listed gardens which we didn't visit on this occasion. Entrance for that is £7 per adult.

Parking is £6 for the whole day and as we took a picnic, this is all we spend.

A bit of morning bouncing. The little one absolutely loves this giant bouncy castle with slides and towers inside.
Sessions are 30 min and bookable on the Haven app or one of the various activity booking points.

Yesterday we took ourselves to Exmouth along the coastal path and went down the steps by the cliffs. Just made it as the tide was coming in. We then spent time on a very empty beach flying our newly acquired kite before moving onto Queen's Drive space for lunch and the playground.

We then took bus number 95 directly back onto the park. Most of these buses are open topped which is a great thrill for the kids.

Today's adventure was a local one. Going out with the scooter 🛴 for the little one.
We walked from site to the Budleigh Exmouth Cyclepath which is the reclaimed railway line.

This is a beautiful path, great for bikes, scooters or skates.

We are on holidays😎🌞😁

Today's day out was to Sidmouth and we took the coastal path towards Beer and Lyme Regis.

Up a couple of steep hills we enjoyed some beautiful views over Sidmouth and onto Ladram Bay. We went through some areas of woodlands which were welcome as the sun was hot today
