It was a privilege to host John and Frances at The Vista this August. John proposed to Frances overlooking Killiedraught Bay, returning to The Vista to celebrate with their children and mum Ann. It is so nice to know John chose The Vista for such a momentous occasion. Sending you both a huge congratulations and I look forward to welcoming you all back next May 💍👰‍♂️🤵🏻💒

The fishing village of St Abbs, located north of Eyemouth, just across the bay from The Vista, was the filming location of New Asgard, Thor’s town in the Avengers: Endgame and Infinity War. St Abbs was the hideaway location for Thor, as he cowered away after the Thanos snap. The claim to fame doesn't stop there, with worldwide superstar Harry Styles selecting the village as the setting for his new music video. The former One Direction heartthrob filmed the video for Adore You in the town and on the cliffs of St Abbs, as it was renamed Eroda in his fictional world.
