The CL has seen rain, sun and wind all in one day of late. Hopefully summer has now arrived on the east coast.

A busy week in the field in front of the CL as the silage was lifted. The silage will be used to feed the cattle over the winter. Great to see some blue skies.

The silage field in front of the CL is awaiting the forage harvester in the coming days. We now have a pitch free from 19 to 27 June if you would like to come and stay at our CL.

After 5 and a half years it is time to hang up the brush and mop at the Millrace holiday let. After welcoming over 1000 guests (and 500 dogs) its time to move onto the next challenge. Thank you to everybody who came and stayed.

The official OPENING WEEKEND at St Abbs Pumpkin Patch will be on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of October.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - please read

🎃 Open from 10 am to 5 pm 👻🎃🧙‍♀️

🎃 NO BOOKING required and NO ADMISSION CHARGE - you may need to queue if the patch becomes BUSY 🎃

🎃 We are easy to find - we are on the right just before going into the village of St Abbs. Postcode TD14 5QF 🎃

🎃 We will be accepting cash 💷 and contactless payment 💳

🎃 We have thousands of pumpkins looking for new homes - we have many varieties to choose from 🎃

📷 Don't forget to bring your camera for some fantastic photos 📷

🍰 Local coffee shops are open ☕️

🐶 No dogs will be allowed in the patch (apart from assistance dogs) BUT there are some lovely walks around St Abbs 🐶

🚗 Free car parking available in close proximity to the patch - look out for the sign.

🥾PLEASE REMEMBER to wear appropriate footwear

🚾 Toilets available at the patch

Pumpkins will last for months if stored correctly. Please store in a cool dry place e.g garage or shed. They don't like to be stored in warm conditions! Don't carve your pumpkins too early as they will only last a few days once carved.

We have been busy over the last few weeks tidying up our pitches and installing a drive over grey water waste grid. We have had a busy February and our guests are enjoying the lighter mornings.

As we approach the end of the year, we would like to thank all the members (and their dogs) who have visited our CL over the past year. The CL has overlooked a busy farming field with silage, cattle and sheep all neighboring our CL during the year.
