The Grange Farmhouse is a luxury self-catering holiday home in North Norfolk for up to 18 guests, perfect for family celebrations and holidays.

Caradon House is a stunning five-star Grade II listed Georgian house set on the village green in East Rudham, North Norfolk. The house has recently undergone a major renovation programme, with the end result being a house very much in the style of a small boutique hotel. Caradon House comprises 10 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms and sleeps 20 + 2. The property benefits from the large open plan living spa

ces, with the centrepiece being a large open plan kitchen with two sets of bi-folding doors opening onto a south-facing terrace, with a large enclosed garden of circa 1 acre beyond. The accommodation includes a formal dining room with seating for up to 22 people, a large open plan kitchen with two trestle tables providing seating for 20, a statement island unit, two AGAs and a Nespresso coffee machine, a library, games room, sitting room, playroom/snug and lots of spacious corridors. Outside, there is seating for 20, a barbecue and stone baked pizza oven. East Rudham is an attractive Georgian village with a gastro pub (The Crown Inn), a small village store and butchers. The Grange Farmhouse is a magnificent Grade II listed Georgian farmhouse built around 1840, set in 3.5 acres of grounds, including a beautiful enclosed Walled Garden. The Farmhouse also has its own iconic beach hut at nearby Wells-next-the-Sea. The Farmhouse comprises circa 7,000 sq ft of internal space and sleeps up to 18 people, with its 9 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. The hub of the downstairs living space is a huge open plan kitchen with a large central island unit, which opens out into the Walled Garden. The kitchen has seating for 18 people at the kitchen table with further seating at the island unit. The farmhouse has five further downstairs reception rooms, including a formal dining room with seating for 18 people. The Farmhouse is located 2 miles west of the historic Norfolk market town of Fakenham, once voted 7th best place to live by Country Life magazine, and is just 10 miles inland from the North Norfolk coast and its glorious sandy beaches at Brancaster, Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea. The stunning Georgian village of Burnham Market, with its village green surrounded by 18th Century houses, shops, designer boutiques and The Hoste Arms, is just 9 miles away. The Farmhouse is perfect for family get-togethers, celebratory occasions – including milestone birthday parties – or just groups of friends looking to chill out together in beautiful North Norfolk.

Ahh - it’s here! Lovely lilac at the Grange Farmhouse is just coming into flower, lovely cuts stems for the next month, my favourite early spring treat. I love that our guests always have something in the walled garden or grounds that they can snip to make their tables pretty.

A perfect New Year’s Day - maybe a walk up at the coast then a comfy chair by a roaring fire. Caradon House has been has been completely renovated and extended to provide luxury holiday accommodation that sleeps 20 in 10 🛌 with 9 🛁. Complete with 3 roaring fires and 9 comfy sofas, games room, large enclosed garden, the Crown Inn a few steps away and the north norfolk coast just 15 mins away, it’s a wonderful venue for a weekend away with friends, family celebration and longer holidays.
