We’re super excited!!

As the summer approaches we thought we’d share with you our new front entrance. The wrought iron gate has gone and handmade arched door with this beautiful star shaped window in its place, adding a fun sense of intrigue as you approach the front door and additional boot storage inside a secure porch. ⭐️👏👏

We still have some availability with the beautiful heated pool 🏊‍♀️🏖️🥂. (Mid May to end of September). The school holidays in July and august have gone but availability most of September, week or weekends in most other months. Discounted rates booking direct with us. Sleeps 6, 15 minutes from Wells and Holkham. 2 well behaved dogs welcome.

It’s always fantastic to see local eateries near the cottage gaining awards and fame for being so good. Look out for The Barsham Arms on TV on the 10th January and only a mile or so from the cottage!! Delicious food and a great setting. 👏👏🍺🥂🥘 🍽️

This place is an absolute gem. Walking distance from the cottage and such beautiful skies too!!

The forecast for Sculthorpe tomorrow is another bright, sunny day - perfect for viewing raptors from the Wetland hide. Today (Saturday 8th October) we had three Sparrowhawks, five Kites, five Buzzards and one Kestrel over the wetland. On the walk to the Wetland hide, the Tawny Owls were seen sitting in the entrance to their nest boxes and nearby, nine Bramblings were seen on the feeder at the Tower hide. A great day for birding - and tomorrow looks good too.

More exciting updates!!

Next summer is looking busy already as visitors look to UK holidays without the worry of the pound abroad💵💰.

We thought we’d share with you some improvements ready for 2023!!! Every year we like to add something new and this year we’ve been coming up with lots of updates. Covered outdoor kitchen🥩🍔, the completion and redecoration of the new pool area as well as more new furniture in the lounge. 🥂🍺🏖

The pool will be heated from the end of May so why not take a break before the summer rush. Please contact us for bookings for next summer as there is only a couple of weeks left in school holidays.

Lovely new farm shop has opened on our doorstep!!! Perfect to try all the local Norfolk goodies 🥰
