So today is known as “Blue Monday” - apparently the most depressing day of the year.
So let’s turn that around, celebrate the blues in this shot taken a few years ago on the coast path between Helford and Maenporth and have a good dose of “vitamin sea” ❤️🌊

Gylly Beach Café do a rather fabulous “Roast on the Coast” which got the thumbs up from our traditionalist daughter! We enjoyed the Bouillabaisse too - and the BFG was the perfect finishing touch!

If you’re ever at Driftwood Cottage and fancy treating yourself with a bit of a pamper, we have the perfect recommendation.
We spent a wonderful few hours at the hydrothermal experience at St Michaels Resort earlier this week, topped off by a fabulous spa treatment.
We can’t promise you the weather we had (genuinely sunbathing in January!) but we can promise a luxurious few hours of relaxation!

Out of this world food, fabulous staff who spoil the dogs rotten - always top of our list to visit personally and we recommend to all our guests. And the Driftwood Guest Book shows that they agree with us.

In the last week we have taken several out of peak season bookings, made some reservations pending deposits being received Driftwood Cottage but still have the Easter school holidays available in April, and also summer from 11th July to 22nd August available.

The weather was windy but dry on NYE, and we joined friends for a pasty, pint and walk around the Lizard. Some blue skies and some dramatic lighting for photos - but the absolute highlight was discovering a cove full of seals! 🦭

We are back at our happy place ❤️ Two delighted Driftwood dogs… And a very delighted me!

Just one of the gems here at Pendra Loweth. Our Driftwood Cottage is nestled in a peaceful valley, surrounded by stunning gardens but with fabulous facilities to enjoy. Take a trip up to the clubhouse and relax on the sunniest terrace we know - with a Pendra pint or maybe one of Gutemberg’s incredible cocktails! Happy Friday!
