A busy week at the Forest Garden Falmouth where we have been adding to the outer perimeter deer fencing that has seen better days. A new approach has been to incorporate these native Hawthorn bare root plants together with the more ground hugging Rosa Rugosa, equally prickly and providing a living and sustainable deer fence for the future (Supplied from our nursery stock). Medicinal Herb Day
Part of the work of the Forest Garden in Falmouth is to grow those trees, shrubs and plants that can be used for herbal medicine and natural healing. This particular course looks in depth at a number of medical conditions or disorders (depression, anxiety, stress, menstruation, menopause, hormonal balancing) and how they can be treated using plant based remedies and natural healing techniques. This is the second of two courses, but you don’t have to have attended the first course to take part in this one.
Date: Saturday 7th May 2022.
Time: 9.30 to 4.30.
