Tucked away in the leafy village of Farnham Common at the border of South Buckinghamshire and Berkshire is this modern, pet friendly, family home-away-home and country retreat. Forest Gateway sits in a quiet cul-du-suc on a secured private residential road only a few meters away from Burnham Beeches, a popular protected Nature Reserve and a location to famous movie scenes. It is the perfect hidden

gem for a country escape and an exciting family getaway in this stunning English countryside region. If you book with us you will be treated to an introductory mindfulness session with a local expert who can organise a follow up activities for you to reconnect with nature. This will be combined with a range of home-made organic room aromatherapy to further heal your body and soul. As a welcome gift you will also sample our carefully selected coffee from the village artisan shop where you can visit to find out more about coffee origins. Forest Getaway is a spacious property distributed over three floors that comfortably accommodates ten people. There is a lovely garden with a good size swimming pool to enjoy with the family on hot summer days while a hot-tub and a wood burning stove ensure your comfort and relaxation continue even in colder winter months. When you arrive at the property you can leave your car in the driveway, which can fit comfortably 4 cars, and make your way inside into a spacious Hallway where you can drop everything. The Kitchen is very well equipped to prepare delicious home-made meals for the whole family, with lots of space and appliances to suit your cooking and baking needs. The Dining Room can sit 10 adults comfortably around a large dinner table and has direct access from the kitchen and outside onto one of five sitting areas in the garden perfect to enjoy during warm months. The Lounge can be found on the lower level. It is bright, private and cosy overlooking the garden and the patio with the hot-tub. The woodburning stove makes the place perfect even during the coldest winter nights. There is a covered outdoor sitting area on the side of the house with a garden heater directly connected to the lounge which is ideal to sneak out on rainy days. In the lounge, there are also two separate work areas, a desk and a computer. The ground floor also has the laundry room with washing machine and a dryer and a cloakroom with a toilet. All bedrooms are accessed via staircase leading to the upper floors. On the first floor, there is the main Master Suite with stunning views into the garden and the surrounding countryside and a bathroom with a tub. There are also two more King-size bedrooms and a Double bedroom on this floor down the corridor and a Shower room. Another Shower room can be found on the top floor where you will also find the fifth Bedroom with a Super-king size bed. Forest Getaway is a superb base for lovers of the outdoors and sports with its immediate proximity to Burnham Beeches and The Chilterns as well as the golf valley. Farnham Common may seem like a quiet village and it certainly is not the Windsor high street but make sure you always have your ‘right foot’ forward as you never know when you bump into one of residents - Anton du Beke! There really is a lot on offer for everyone but it pays to be organised and plan ahead. As well as a broad selection of restaurants and coffee shops there are also good take aways to choose from and ever so popular farm shops where you can pick up local produce for your dinner. And if you are after something more adventurous, you can go strawberry picking, visit an animal sanctuary or spend a day as a Victorian forger. Why not visiting one of the County’s numerous Country Houses and Parks which have been popular for Hollywood movie scenes for decades? James Bond, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves, Bridget Jones’s Diary, Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows - just to name a few that have been shot here. Even The Beatles filmed the video to their hit Help! at Cliveden House which is only a short drive away from Forest Getaway. On the other hand, Stowe Park and Basildon Park have been featured in more recent British TV Drama shows such as Bridgerton and The Crown. If urban vibe and culture is what you crave then look no further! Forest Getaway is in the countryside, but it is also very conveniently located close to some of the best venues for culture, fine dining, shopping, kids entertainment or just about everything else! The specialist answered without hesitation that it was the hardest for him to see how old or sick animals look for their owners with the eyes of their owners before going to sleep. The fact is that 90 % of owners don't want to be in a room with a dying animal. People leave so that they don't see their pet leave. But they don't realize that it's in these last moments of life that their pet needs them most.
Veterinarians ask the owners to be close to the animals until the very end. ′′It's inevitable that they die before you. Don't forget that you were the center of their life. Maybe they were just a part of you. But they are also your family. No matter how hard it is, don't leave them.
Dont let them die in a room with a stranger in a place they dont like. It is very painful for veterinarians to see how pets cannot find their owner during the last minutes of their life. They dont understand why the owner left them. After all, they needed their owner’s consolation.
Veterinarians do everything possible to ensure that animals are not so scared, but they are completely strangers to them. Don't be a coward because it's too painful for you. Think about the pet. Endure this pain for the sake of their sake. Be with them until the end.”
