So Abi and family have now returned from their amazing adventures in Brazil - Rio, safari, beach and Iguassu Falls - whilst some journeys are long as you criss-cross this stunning destination, you'll be richly rewarded for your efforts, as you can see from our insta pages. We left a little of our heart in the Pantanal though, home to the jaguars and so beautifully marked by the colourful Trumpet Trees - the pink trees flowers first, followed by yellow and white. Abi is missing her spot on 'Silent Beach' at Hillside Beach Club in Turkey, what a view from your sunbed! Whilst on one hand the resort offers a plethora of activities and entertainment, on the other two beaches for those age 16 plus only, enable you to relax and re-charge. Book early for 2024, the resort has been fully booked for Summer 2023 for some time; a family holiday, couples retreat, girls long weekend, there's something for everyone.

Please check the validity of your passports if you plan to travel this Summer! Travellers needing a new passport are being warned of long waits after Passport Office staff announced they will strike for five weeks from next month. The union representing Passport Office workers warned the ‘significant escalation’ in the dispute over pay and conditions is ‘likely to have a significant impact on the delivery of passports as the summer approaches’. Staff working on the mainland will walk out from 3 April, while those based in Belfast will walk out from 7 April. In all offices, the last day of the strike has been set for 5 May.
Did you know that a safari can be so much more than game drives, as thrilling as they can be? Maisie and family have kindly agreed to share about their recent adventure in Lewa, Kenya, where not only did they spot lions and rhinos from the safety of a 4 x 4, but swam in waterfalls, traversed tree canopy bridges, met the local Maasai villagers and had breakfast with giraffes!
