CHAMPIONSHIP PODDIUMS FOR BICKERS SUPPORTED RIDERS
SCOTTISH MX CHAMPIONSHIPS 2024
Bickers supported riders took gold, silver and bronze at the Scottish MX Championships. SC Sporthomes Charlie Heyman took the MX2 championship in style by winning two of the three races, Teammate Tristan Purdon took the silver for the MX1 championship with a second and fourth place on the day.
Chambers Racing's Glen McCormick took 3/3/3 to take the bronze in the MX2 championship.

CAS VALK 3rd SWISS GP EMX250
Currently in third place in the EMX250 and only 19 points below the top of the table, it's wide open with the final round still to come. Bickers' supported who rides for uses , (MX-ST+ tyres) MOTOREX - Oil of Switzerland (MXZ5) and (Alpinestars Tech 10 boots)

Are your chain’s pins rotating?

One of the easier ways to check and see if your chain needs to be replaced is to inspect the quad staked pins on your chain. When a chain is new all the pins will be all aligned and will be parallel. As a chain ages, loses internal lubrication and the internal components start wearing down, the pins can start rotating as seen in the image here. If you have pin rotation on your chain you should replace the chain ASAP.

As a preventative measure, frequent lubrication can delay the onset of rotated pins. For non-sealed chains, internal lubricant can be somewhat replaced by directing the l**e towards the roller and bushing areas on both sides so that the pin will be protected and lubricated. Unfortunately for sealed chains replacing the internal lubricant is not possible.

The weekend got off to a cracking start for Danny with the fastest overall for the day on Friday. Saturday was challenging and Sunday had its niggles too. A DNF in the mix on Saturday, just one lap from the end of the race, made it a frustrating day. Taking a podium spot in race two (3rd) and race three (2nd) on Sunday made it all worthwhile and puts Danny in sixth in the standings with five rounds to go.

TEAM SJP MOTO'S HAWKESTONE SUCCESSES
JOSH VAIL ON FIRE @ HAWKESTONE THRILLER & LEO WILSON PODIUM!

The famous Hawkstone Park venue was again the site for another historic event as the Dirt Store ACU British Motocross Championship and the Motul Fastest 40 joined forces and hosted a combined championship event. With the sun shining down on Hawkstone Park, it was set to be a great weekend of racing.

Leo Wilson not only got the fastest lap time in qualifying he also ended the round with a podium 3rd place in the 85SW final moto which gave him 4th overall on the weekend. We look forward to seeing how the rest of the season goes for Leo.

Getting a great start meant that Josh lead for most of the first race, taking the win nearly 40 seconds ahead of the pack. In the second race Josh made a good start, worked his way to the front, resulting in another dominant race win. With two wins Josh claimed theround win in both the Dirt Store MXGB and the Fastest 40 125cc classes. As things stand there is just one point between Josh and the leader of the MXGB, so with two rounds remaining the tension is building, and we're anticipating some fantastic races! In the Fastest 40 Championship with just one round left Josh is current leader but it is going to the wire, a really exciting class to follow.

AXXIS PANTHER HELMET GETS THUMBS UP FROM BENNETTS
Hot off the press - the Axxis Panther full-face helmet with built-in sunshield was tested by Bennetts earlier this month (July ’24). As a result it’s now listed one their website as one of the “best full-face helmets under £150”.

BRITISH SUPERBIKES r6, BRANDS HATCH
Moto Rapido Ducati Racing
Time to celebrate a couple of the many riders who are supported by RK Chain.
Christian Iddon Racing had a tough weekend and fought hard for his second place podium: he is in contention for the championship and currently third in the standings.
Teammate Ben Currie leads the standings in the British Supersport and outshone Christian, on this occasion, with two second places.
At the midpoint in the championships they are both well placed for a few challenging and exhilarating rounds and we hope that the remaining rounds sees even more podiums and wins for them.
Of course, we know that behind every rider there's a team backing them up, and we say well done team Moto Rapido Ducati!
Wise choices to enhance the bike's performance often give a slight edge over others and choosing RK Chain is certainly one of the wisest choices they make season after season.
