Daydreaming of sunny days along the coast, it may be grey and rainy right now, but why not plan a visit to our wonderful Felixstowe seaside for the next sunny day! It’s wonderful what the fresh sea air and the coastal sunshine can do. ☀️🌴

We are delighted to welcome the new town centre notice board, back by popular demand to keep those who prefer their local updates offline. Thanks to and East Suffolk Council. We’ll let you know how you can add your content as soon as there’s a process in place.

The free ice rink has been super busy today. It’s open again tomorrow from 10-6 for the last day of free skating. Come and do a spot of shopping in our wonderful town, enjoy the Christmas lights and feel good about supporting our shops and local economy. Felixstowe Town Council

Santa and Rudolph are at Morrisons over the weekend. Here they are today with their Rotary Club helpers and Sally from Morrisons. So, if you are around, have a word with Santa and perhaps donate to Save the Children and Rotary charities.

A really big thank you to all those from across the community, individuals, organisations and corporates, who have supported Santa’s Ride around Town in so many ways.

Wow! More than 80 people joined us on the Santa Express today from Greater Anglia to for festive fun including free ice skating at Great Eastern Square. Upon arrival Community Rail Officer Thalia was welcomed by the Mayor of Felixstowe.

Many thanks to everyone at Felixstowe BID for including us in today's events! We can't wait for next year!

It’s going ahead tonight! Santa and Rudolph will be around Glenfield and Fairfield Ave, Beatrice Ave, Dellwood, Fleetwood and Lynwood Ave, Lansdowne Rd, Rosemary Ave, Colneis Rd, Links Ave, Upperfield Drive.

As always, you will be able to track them from around 6 pm on https://glympse.com/!felixstowesanta

Then they will be at Morrisons on Saturday and Sunday, before making their way back to the North Pole to get ready for their big night.

Tonight, Friday 20 December, we hope to be bringing Santa and Rudolph around the Fairfield and Colneis route postponed from that stormy Thursday. So, watch this space for an update.

Yesterday they were out with the Tennis Club and on Wednesday it was Kirton Scouts. Thanks for all the support from across the community.
