It's time to introduce a couple of new additions to the Filey Bay Direct family this week.

First is Puffin's Nest - a 3 bed cottage which is ideal for 2 families with young children - 2 double rooms and a room with 2 sets of bunks for the kids to share. Dog friendly too! Available from Friday :-)

Second is Pebble Cottage - a 2 bed cottage available from 1st July onwards. One double and one twin, recently refurbished ready for letting too. No pets allowed.

Both are close to amenities too.

Pebble Cottage is next door to one of our popular cottages Sea Esta (sleeps 5, pet-friendly) and shares the same outdoor space, so is perfect if you are looking to holiday with friends or family.

Puffin's Nest is a few doors down from Anchors Away (sleeps 7) so ideal for larger groups wanting to holiday close to each other.

The Oreo Shack and Bayside are both on Turnberry Drive, close to the childrens' playground, with plenty of parking options for multiple cars.

Joe's is on Silversands Way, and Sailaway is on Britannia Drive, both with sea views from the master bedrooms :-)

Oreo Shack and Joe's beach house both sleep up to 5 (max 4 adults), and Sailaway and Bayside both sleep up to 10, ideal if you want to holiday with friends and family.

Looking for a property for a family gathering?

We're lucky enough to have 4 of the largest properties at The Bay Resort Filey, which can all sleep up to 10! Two are pet-free and 2 dog-friendly. All have at least 1 downstairs bedroom with ensuite.

Pet-free

Sailaway - sea view - sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms plus 2 on a sofa bed in the lounge or main bedroom

Bayside - resort view - sleeps 10 in 4 bedrooms - 3 double rooms plus a family room with bunks and 2 single beds. Additional cloakroom too.

Dog-friendly

Bempton View - sea view - sleeps 10 in 4 bedrooms - 3 doubles plus 1 childrens room with 2 sets of bunk beds.

Silversands - sea view - "upside down" house with 3 bedrooms downstairs and 1 upstairs. Sleeps 8 in beds plus 2 extra beds for children only

Happy bank holiday everyone.

I've taken a moment to sit down and reflect on and appreciate the efforts made by our owners and local trades over the last few months, to get these properties up and running!

It's been hard work for those involved - a new water tank, kitchen appliances, gas certificates, log burner services, electrical tests, carpets, decorating, fire risk assessments, soft furnishings, bedding, and furniture but I think it's all been worth it to be able to offer you, our valued guests, more properties at The Bay.
