Please follow this advice, we love our pets so much please keep them safe.

A reminder about our lovely four legged friends. Even though the rain has stopped for the moment, the paths are still wet and muddy. This can be extremely dangerous for our dogs running around near the cliffs. So please follow the advice and keep your dogs on their leads. We also have advice about what not to do if your dog goes into water or gets stuck in mud🐾🐾

Don't miss it...... according to 'them' the sun is coming out this weekend! yes that big yellow ball in the sky with warm temperature. Fancy a weekend at the coast? Maisie is available this weekend, Daisy is already busy so grab the chance to enjoy the coast after all this rain! That's if they are right of course! And if they are wrong... the sea is wonderful to watch any weather, while you're all cosy inside.

Watch out for the Rip ......... our bay does get them, don't get caught out, know what to look for.

For those hitting the ocean and waves this summer.
This is really simple. You can spot a rip current. Unfortunately, it's where it looks easiest and safest to enter the sea. This is because the rip current is looping around and pulling back OUT. Hence no waves rolling IN. NEVER ENTER THE SEA HERE. If you are already in the sea and get caught in a rip current (you'll know because you will suddenly be moved from your location and it will be impossible to swim against it) don't panic. Swim ACROSS, not against the rip current. For example, rather than trying to swim to shore while being pushed out, swim parallel to the beach and you will be able to get out. Then you can swim ashore. Please educate friends or family visiting the beaches this summer. Stay safe 🙏

It's nearly time folks..... looking forward to welcoming you all back, new guests and regular gusts who feel more like friends now after so many years of staying with us. Have renewed the lounge carpets in both for this season and Daisy has also got new floor covering in the kitchen, it was her turn for an upgrade, just a few little tweaks around both just to keep things up to standard. Lets hope the weather is kind to us all this season. Looking forward to welcoming you to the park. See you soon. Lynda

I will also send you a confirmation email which also gives you directions on how to find the caravan and the codes and passwords you will need. If you do not receive this check your spam/junk folder. Accidents happen... I understand that and I do ask guests to tell me if anything gets broken so I can replace it. Maisie has not been let due to maintenance issues and refurbishment at some point, maybe even last season the TV in the bedroom has been broken with an impact blow to the screen. There was no visible damage until the TV was turned on, the ariel socket was also damaged. Had I been told I could have organised a replacement & claimed off my insurance, which is there to protect both me and guests from excessive costs. Thanks for not telling me as I cannot now claim for this damage so have had to meet the costs of the repairs myself. I have to trust my guests with my beloved holiday home sadly someone let me down.

Maisie has been 'out of use' for some weeks now due to a number of issues with leaks! Here a leak, there a leak, everywhere a leak leak! finally we found them all, got them repaired dried out the flooring and have had to renew all the floor covering except the lounge ( which is feeling sorry for itself now). But it has had some improvements added and there are more to come! Watch this space! We have also painted the hallway, shower room and toilet with a new cabinet in the shower room with some little additions. Hope you like the finished result. Pictures to follow.

It’s exciting! Haven are now offering dog friendly seating in The Hawkwood, so you can now bring the whole family to tea.​ What better way to wind down after a long day of playing with the whole family, than at one of our restaurants and now your pups can come too. They even have water bowls for them to use and you'll have your own special section to sit in where you can easily order your food via a QR code.

Staff are excited to meet all pup guests, but do ask for you to be mindful of others around you, especially those that are not dog-fans or have phobias and allergies. Therefore we ask that all dog owners kindly adhere to the following:

Keep your dog/s on a lead at all times A responsible adult must be in charge of the dog/s Dog/s must be on the floor at all times and not on your lap or a chair/bench

Dog owners are fully responsible for their pets while in the venue. If your pup is playing up, they may have to kindly ask you to leave the venue. Remember that not everyone is a dog person, so please be respectful of these rules. We look forward to seeing you and your pups on park soon! If you are allergic to dogs please let staff know and they will seat you furthest away.

Yayyy... it's here! the new season has started, well it will do, Park is finally open and we are preparing Daisy & Maisie for your arrivals.
