Hope everyone is OK after last night's storm?... Alpaca Cwtch lodge, in Pembrokeshire, West Wales, was totally fine, all Alpacas, goat's and other animals all good. Alpaca Cwtch is fully insulated with heating if you are staying here soon, you will snug as a bug and have a restful break 😀

One of them being the historic The Royal Oak, being voted one of the best places in Pembrokeshire, which is located in the center of town and fishing ferry port of Fishguard. The pub is famous for its place in history as in 1797, the French unsuccessfully attempted an invasion on the west coast of Wales only to be thwarted by the locals, this was the last invasion attempt on Britain..

AlpacaCwtch is in the heart of Pembrokeshire, 10 minutes walk from the sea front, 10 minutes walk from Fishguard Town centre.

❤️AlpacaCwtch is situated in a very quiet hidden valley with an abundance of country and sea views from your private decking, as well as the delightful alpacas, pygmy goats in there own paddocks and free range ducks who willingly like to say hello to visitors on the decking. Plenty of beautiful countryside walks directly outside from the accommodation if you fancy a stroll. We are literally a 15 minute walk away from the magnificent Pembrokeshire coast path trails if you enjoy walking along the coast path national trail, where you might be lucky enough to view dolphins, porpoises, seals, peregrine falcons and plenty of other wildlife.

Lots of lovely restaurants with excellent reviews in Fishguard as well as small gift shops and a few supermarkets, boat trips to enjoy from the harbour in Goodwick.

If you fancy getting out and about and exploring - St Davids with its beautiful historic cathedral is approx 20 minutes drive away, pretty Cenarth Falls is also 20 minutes drive away. If you enjoy history, Pentre ifan burial chamber and Castell Henllys, iron age village is an important archaeological site, both approx 20 minutes max drive from Alpaca Cwtch. The popular Blue lagoon near Abereiddi is another great place to visit as well as stopping off for lunch at the old harbour in Porthgain.

If you fancy a bit of a change, Folly farm and Oakwood theme park as well as Tenby are all approx 45 minutes drive away.

🦙 Alpacas and pygmy goats at Alpaca Cwtch 🦙🐐

We have been asked by guests -- "Do Alpacas spit at people".....The answer is sometimes, but thankfully this is very rare, (or I'm just quick at spotting the sign's and get out of the way quickly 😀).

99% of the time, if you do ever see our girls have a "spitting session" , usually it will be Daisy the new mum spitting at Dolly, when it's feeding time as they are trying to compete for the best bit of feed and to show dominance, even though there is plenty to go around, like in the end off our short video 🤭🤭

Our Alpacas and pygmy goats are kept in their own paddocks right next to Alpaca Cwtch, You can sit back, relaxing on the decking and simply watch them or there is a complimentary feeding bucket with animal feed for guests to hand feed these beautiful girls anytime they wish, OR you have the option of still seeing them from the windows without even getting out off bed if you wish 😁🛌.
