Dot’s diary 2025 is now up and running , following a successful 2024 season , one or two things to do to spruce up Dot’s ready for our 2025 guests . Check out our link and please get in touch if you are interested in booking with us . 3 ,4, and 7 night stays are available at our superior lakeside dog friendly retreat , ramps to accomodate wheelchairs leading to full wrap around decking overlooking the lake itself . 3 bed sleeps 8 , bathroom with bath and en-suite with shower , fully equipped kitchen and centrally heated home from home , ideally located in perfect settings , abundance of on site activities for both young and old and plenty to explore off site in and around the area for the avid walker / explorer . Both bed linen and towels included and all major supermarkets have on site delivery which is a bonus . EV charging available near reception 😊

Our lovely caravan Dot’s Retreat is situated by the lakeside on Clabbermere , Haven holiday park Flookburgh , South Lakes .
Close by , via a short car drive approx 30 to 40 mins is Lake Windermere , Kendal , Ulverstone , Barrow-in-Furness , Grange over Sands , Cartmel , Cark and Morecambe , numerous museums , a zoo , and pleasant walks amongst delightful scenery. Within the village before reaching the site there are a few fine pubs / eateries, village bakery , Chinese take away , post office , local shop , train station , the famous Cartmel Sticky Toffee pudding factory , a local brewery and a garden centre . Easter Sunday starts the big car boot sale which is held in the field just before the site itself .

There is plenty of entertainment to be had on site for both children and adults alike , you’re on holiday after all 🙂

A superior three bed , main with ensuite , bathroom with bath / shower and fully equipped kichen / diner . Has everything home from home . Sleeps up to 8 people and dog friendly too . Wrap around decking with ramp and a patio that overlooks the lake , peaceful and a perfect sun trap . Fresh linen and towels are provided during your stay .
There is plenty of entertainment to be had on site for both children and adults alike , you’re on holiday after all , entertainment passes available from Haven itself on booking .
