We have two newly renovated self-catering holiday apartments, tastefully converted from ancient farm buildings, accommodating from 4 people up to 7. You would be staying within the courtyard at Ladwood Farm which is a private area shared with other guests. This area is a beautiful spot to sit back and relax and use the barbecue facilities available. Ladwood Farm lies within the Elham valley, a ren

owned Kent beauty spot between Canterbury and Folkestone on the chalk North Downs. This is a concentrated area of outstanding natural beauty with gentle hills, valleys, woods and meadows. Populated by isolated farms, such as ours, and many pretty villages, there are few roads and it remains peaceful and pastoral. With its ancient right of way and bridleways, it is an idyllic spot for splendid walks and horse riding. At Ladwood Farm, there is always plenty of animals grazing, including horses, sheep and cows. Nestling in its own valley, the farm is beautiful and secluded and surrounded by its own fields and woodland with many species of wild birds, animals and flora. Situated just 10 miles from Canterbury, 5 from Folkestone, 8 from Dover and 15 from Ashford, we are just a stoneโ€™s throw from the Channel Tunnel and ferries and close to the International Eurostar terminal at Ashford.

The Story of Ladwood Farm Cottages

Ladwood Farm is a passionate family run holiday cottage business, nestled in the heart of South East Kentโ€™s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Set in a renowned Kent beauty spot, it is populated by isolated farms and pretty villages; there are few roads and it remains peaceful and pastoral. With its ancient right of way and bridleways passing through and around the farm, it is an idyllic spot for splendid walks and horse riding.

The main farmhouse at Ladwood Farm has been a warm and loving home to the current owners for over 18 years; the same love and care has been injected into various outbuildings so that the family can now share the picturesque surroundings, peaceful tranquility, and breadths of doorstep walks, with all of you.

The converted Barn, offers two newly renovated self-catering holiday units, tastefully converted and set in an idyllic rural Victorian Courtyard.

The Courtyard boasts manicured landscaping, a pergola at one end housing a shower of wisteria and white rose and a raised lily pond in the centre. A much larger pond with a central fountain greets you as you first arrive at the accommodation. Carefully placed up-lighting sets the grounds alive at night, so that you can enjoy the outdoors even in the evening!
