Join us TOMORROW (Friday) at 1PM for a Muddy Munchkins Farm Taster – a fun-filled one-hour adventure on the farm! 🌿🚜 Meet our friendly animals, explore the great outdoors, and enjoy hands-on farmyard fun!

Help us choose our Newton Farm Tartan! 🏴✨

Exciting news—our bespoke tartan designs are here! 🎉 We've been working with Strathmore Woollen Co to create a tartan that reflects the beauty of our farming landscape:
🌿 Green – The lush grass that feeds our animals
🌊 Blue – The water that keeps the land thriving
🌾 Brown – The rich earth we work to grow our crops
💜 Purple – The heather on Carrot Hill and the thistles that dot our fields
🧡 Gold / Orange – The golden barley, our Highland cows, and Limousins

Now, we need YOUR help! We have two stunning designs and can’t decide which one should be the official Newton Farm tartan. 🐂💚

🌟 Tractor Power for a Cause! 🚜

Today, our son Scott Nicoll is proudly taking part in the charity tractor run in Dundee, a fantastic event bringing the farming community together to support Scotland’s Air Ambulance. With over 100 tractors taking part, it’s sure to be an impressive sight! 💪💚

But it’s not just about the tractors—this event is also shining a spotlight on the challenges facing family farms, including the potential impact of the Labour Government’s proposed changes to inheritance tax. These changes could put the future of family farming at risk, threatening the way of life for generations of hardworking farmers. 🐂🌾

We’re so proud of Scott and everyone involved in raising awareness of the challenges farmers face and funds for this amazing charity. If you’re in Dundee today, look out for Scott and the other tractors making their way along the Kingsway! 🚜✨

What a start to 2025! We have had the most amazing fun working with VisitScotland and A' the Airts Community Arts Centre to showcase Julie our highland cow wearing this incredible bespoke knitted cardigan. All you need to Visit Scotland in the Winter is to wrap up warm and you can enjoy the most incredible agritourism experiences in our amazing landscapes including brushing Julie and her Cosy Coo friends. Hope to see you soon

Remember to wrap up warm when it’s cold ❄️ even our Coos have to think about their winter fashion! 😍🧶🐮

Update: very proud finalist but we couldn’t compete with a mountain 🤪 congratulations to the Nevis Range who won the best outdoor experience in Scotland 2024.

It’s tonight! Having won the regional award it’s now the national finals of VisitScotland’s Thistle Awards which are taking place in Glasgow and we are very lucky to be one of the finalists amongst such an amazing group of Scottish businesses who excel at offering customers an incredible Scottish experience.

Good luck to everyone who is up for an award tonight.
