Beautiful coving and paneling with lovely high ceilings. Bathroom with slipper bath, glass shower under a stone arch...different!

Finally found the style of bedroom furniture we wanted, now we need to make a canopy...easier said than done!

We had a fantastic stay at Felicity’s in Fort Augustus. The apartment was phenomenal and was an excellent place to relax for a few days. All very comfortable. We loved the log fire and amazing bathroom. It is only a short walk into Fort Augustus where there are some pubs and a fantastic restaurant (the Lovat). We spent the time kayaking and walking. Absolutely loved it! Felicity was a brilliant host. Would highly recommend.

Perfect stay
We have just come back from a fantastic stay in the most stunning accommodation we have ever stayed in. The work that Chris and Felicity have put into the apartments, are nothing short of exceptional. Every room is just perfect, and we enjoyed each one. The best bit, was the log fire. Our cockapoo didn't want to move away, except when we needed to put another log in. I highly recommend staying here as the location to everything is spot on and great walks if you have a dog.

Perfection made accommodation to relax and enjoy Loch Ness and its surrounding areas
+ Everything was perfect, flawless and absolutely clean. Owners are just amazing and kind people. Can't honestly name all attention to detail the owners put in the apartment. From fluffy scented towels to the highest COVID-19 standards in cleanness. Very close to town centre and I am most grateful because I traveled with my three dogs. 3 lovely Westies and they were more than welcome. Owners even leave a treat box for them! Speechless attention to details! Definitely would recommend to friends and family!

What a lovely review from recent guests...
The most beautiful and tastefully converted Old Convent, retains original features merged with modern comforts. Felicity and Chris are superb hosts and such a genuinely lovely couple! You'll get a real warm welcome. We are 3 days into a 7 day stay and I am already planning our next visit. Fort Augustus has everything you need and within walking distance. Cannot recommend The Old Convent highly enough . 5 stars all the way.

Lovely review from a lovely couple who stayed here for their honeymoon...
We had a brilliant time staying at the beautiful No. 2 holiday apartment at The Old Convent. We had planned to go abroad for our honeymoon but decided to stay in the UK fairly last-minute, which turned out to be a great decision! The apartment had been done up to an exceptional standard which made it feel very luxurious and special. It was also very well equipped with everything we needed, and more. Chris and Felicity were so hospitable and friendly, and had lots of suggestions for things to see and do. The area of course was beautiful. We did great day trips and walks in the surrounding Glens and the Isle of Skye. We were a bit unlucky with the weather, but this didn't matter as we enjoyed relaxing in the apartment so much anyway. We absolutely recommend staying here!

Luxury living at affordable prices. Wonderfully special place.
Amazing character property, stylish mix of modern and traditional. Likes - Quality appliances, stunning bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Allocated parking, spotlessly clean and easy walk I to the village. Great welcome folder. Full length mirror and large bedroom.
Dislike-That our stay was so short as would have loved to have stayed for longer.

Beautiful apartment in great location

The apartment was even better than the photos. Spotless, great attention to every detail and nothing was too much trouble for Felicity and her husband. It was like coming home. Easy walking distance into Fort Augustus and bus routes nearby. We would definitely return.

Amazing apartment! The roll top bath was a personal favourite! Felicity gave is lots of information when we arrived for good walks with the dogs. Highly reccomend stay, make sure you stay longer than 3 days if possible as you will regret it.

Unique, peaceful, high quality - Home from Home!

From the very moment we arrived, we felt at home at this most tastefully converted apartment with great views and total peace & tranquility. Equipped to high quality and offering so many special touches from exposed ancient stone walls within to high, beautiful decorated ceilings and an arched doorway as well as original abbey doors. Its easy to relax and unwind in the lounge looking into the huge trees of the convent woods and The Highlands above or walk straight from the very spacious bedroom into the garden. Plus on top of it all the warm scottish welcome by Felicity and Chris with their excitement for this place, you will love to listen to! Hosts ourselves we know what we are speaking about and will for sure return very soon.

Exceptional apartment
The standard is very high both in cleanliness and the internal fittings which were in keeping with modern life both with a traditional twist. The environment was comfortable and welcoming with the owners being friendly and welcoming.

“One of the nicest Airbnbs I've ever stayed at. Upmarket and stylish apartment. The furniture and decor wouldn't be out of place at a five star hotel. The location is also good with large car parking spaces and a convenient 10 minute walk into the village centre. The pictures don't do it justice, it's a really wonderful place to stay.”

Fabulous New Year

Revisiting this beautiful area again and returning to the most fabulous apartments lovingly restored by our lovely hosts Felicity & Chris. We just keep going back as all the apartments at The Old Convent are of a first class standard and individually decorated to an exceptional level making them not just gorgeous but homely too. This year was no exception and we have already booked up again for next New Year . I can’t praise this properly highly enough and can’t wait to return again x Thanks once again for your wonderful hospitality Felicity & Chris... we already feel we are part of the family x See you next New Year .
