We have started a YouTube channel!
This will give us a way of us sharing more content from our trips, producing longer videos and generally just getting our creativity flowing!
Here is a snippet of our most recent upload to YouTube, a video titled 'Lotta's' from an incredibly enjoyable and sunny scouting mission!
Link to YouTube Channel in bio.

We found this Greater Pipefish (Syngnathus acus) pretty much in the middle of Loch nan Uamh, when we were crossing the loch on our expedition last September.
Greater pipefish usually live in shallow water and are closely linked to seagrass as they use this habitat for breeding and feeding. They have however been found at depths of 100m!
Wonder where this one is headed..?
They are very cool creatures, related to both the seahorse and sea dragon!
Like with the seahorse males carry the fertilised eggs however, they also may eat their young moments after reproducing so they have the resources to be able to find a superior mate.
We sometimes spot Pipefish on both our snorkelling and seatrekking trips, where we spend time floating above their more natural habitat.
