Do you actually switch off, or is your mind still going at 100 mph?
Many of us use running to escape from the hustle, bustle and stresses of daily life, but what do you actually think about when you run? 🤔 Being mindful and present can help to reduce those stresses, and connect you to yourself, your running and the world around you.
It can be really hard to stop your mind from wandering and thinking about what's for dinner, what time the kids need picking up, that message you forgot to reply to, that work email, and on and on and on.
So we challenge you! 🫵 Next time you run, silence your phone and HR alerts, even if it's just for a short section of your run, and really tune in to your thoughts. Each time they wander, bring them back to the present and see what you notice.
