Please message us for more information. This traditional, Cornish holiday cottage is part of a cluster of cottages situated on the rural outskirts of Fowey, a short stroll from the beach yet within comfortable walking distance of the centre. Ground Floor:
Open plan living space. Living area: With Freeview TV and DVD player. Kitchen area: With electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, worktop

freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. First Floor:
Bedroom 1: With kingsize bed and Freeview Smart TV. Bedroom 2: With twin beds. Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Small garden with sitting out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. Children’s play area (shared). Haybarn is a two bedroomed property and is set in an acre of communal gardens, including an enclosed children’s play area. The cottage also benefits from its own private, lawned garden and patio area with picnic bench to the front. This traditional Cornish stone holiday cottage is part of a cluster of similar cottages situated on the rural outskirts of Fowey, but only a short stroll from the beach and still within comfortable walking distance of the centre. Haybarn provides comfortable accommodation and is equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay in Fowey. The small town of Fowey boasts galleries, boutique shops, bars and restaurants, serving locally sourced produce and fish. Meander around the narrow streets that wind down to the quayside where you will find plenty of amenities. A sandy beach at Readymoney Cove is approximately a 15-minute walk from the cottage. Padstow, Newquay, Mevagissey, Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are just a few of the great things to see and do whilst staying in this delightful part of Cornwall. The estuary provides canoeing, fishing and dolphin spotting trips, sailing, cycling, horse riding, walking and golf can all be enjoyed locally. Shops 300 yards, pubs 600 yards and restaurant 700 yards..

Fantastic beach just 15 minutes walk from Haybarn. Dog-friendly September - June with limited access during July and August.

A circular walk near Fowey, from the tiny harbour of Polkerris, past the daymark tower on Gribbin Head and along the coast where Daphne du Maurier lived and based many of her books on, to the sandy beach at Readymoney Cove, returning on the Saint's Way.

Highly recommend a visit to the beach shop. Fantastic gifts, delicious ice cream and on a grey day there’s nothing better than their legendary hot chocolate! 🏖️

THIS VIEW 💚

I walk along St Catherine’s Parade with my dogs most days. The other day as I was passing the Readymoney carpark entrance on my way down to the beach I was stopped by a couple to ask whether they were going the right way as they’d never been to this area before. I dispensed my usual tourist information advice with a smile and carried on my way.

It then struck me that very shortly they’d get to see this view for the first time ever. That glimpse through the trees of the turrets, the sandy cove and the sea: it’s just so special. I was actually a bit jealous, how lucky they were about to be. I’d never say that I take these views for granted as part of my daily life but that first glimpse, just wow.
