The wild flower garden has finally come into bloom!! It looks so pretty and colourful 🏵🌸🌼😍

And, the apple tree is bearing fruit. It must finally be looking a bit like summer!! 😆🌞🎉

Oh my gosh, I was super thrilled with these hoover discs given to me to try by an amazing mum friend . The cottage smelt so good during my changeover this week!! I used linen fresh but there are so many different fragrances to choose from. Go on, spoil yourself and your hoover, you won't regret it 😃🧡

📣. New blinds!!! 🤩

My amazing mum replaced the old faded polkadot fabric on the kitchen blinds with this lovely quirky puffin material.

I'm really pleased with how they look. Bring a slightly more modern feel to the cottage whilst still retaining the cosy feel.

Hope you love them as much as I do 😍

👋🏼 Bye bye old radiator. Hello shiny new towel rail 😃

The bathroom radiator had to go this week. And in its place my lovely dad has installed a towel rail.

The bathroom has also had a freshen up with another coat of paint. I think it's feeling much smarter in here again now. Hope you agree!

👩🏼‍🎨🖌️ I'm taking a few days to spruce the cottage up🪛🛠️

🚪 So far I've touched up the interior walls and have given the front door a fresh coat of paint and cleaned up all its brass furniture. I think it looks much better! 😁 I used in Blazer.

The bathroom is getting a little upgrade too 😊

It was a garden maintenance day today at the cottage. 🌸🌳🌿

The box in the border hasn't done very well and so I finally decided to admit defeat and have replaced it with white lavender.

The spiky thistles have been dug up from the lawn that have appeared over the last 6 months.

The purple lavender has had extra compost added and a few other bits have been pruned and beautified!

It was looking great when I'd finished although the sun wasn't shining so the photo I took didn't do it justice 😕

The wildflower garden got a good watering too thanks to my water loving 3yo.

All in all a productive day. ☺️👊🌿

Such a lovely day in Frinton today! ☀️🌅😍

You could see the sun shimmering on the sea from the cottage and then the tide was right out showing off Frinton's lovely sandy beach.

I like to keep everything looking as good as new at Sea View Cottage 🤩

Today the velvet sofa and chairs got a good clean by the very thorough and professional

I also repainted the whole house in December (bye bye magnolia) and then had all the carpets replaced. So after a very busy few years it's looking in tip top condition again 🤓

I can never seem to quite do Frinton-on-Sea's coastline justice, but I think I've got somewhere close with these three....

It's totally dog friendly at this time of year, although the stretch close to the high street restricts dogs from May to September.

It's gentle slope means it's also really child friendly too.
