We have two rare available slots for our beautiful five bedroom cottage, Longleat, from the 26th July for the weekend or a midweek stay from 29th July.
This is an impressive 5 bedroom cottage that has both an entrance onto the court yard allowing easy access to all the facilities as well as double doors out from the living room area where there are far reaching views across the hills. This is a lovely spot to enjoy the afternoon sun and possibly spot a barn owl hunting over the fields at the front of the property.
This cottage has a large open plan kitchen dining area, leading into the substantial living room area. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. There is a dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave, 2 ovens, ceramic hob and a large American style fridge freezer. The dining tables and chairs are made from oak and seat 10 comfortably as do the sofas in the living room area.
Downstairs there is a twin room with en-suite.
Upstairs there is an en-suite king bedroom plus another king room. There are two good sized twin rooms and a large family bathroom with shower over a bath. Mattresses are high quality pocket sprung with linen and towels provided, including an extra towel for the pool.

The Frome Independent is an award winning, destination street market. Stalls reclaim Frome’s high street once a month to showcase the best independent craftspeople, designers, makers, food producers and vintage traders in the South West.
The market takes place on the first Sunday of the month from March to December and strives to be ‘more than a market’, incorporating live music, DJs, street performance, workshops and activities for children and adults alike on market days.
The market is a free event for visitors and has quickly grown to be one of the most significant elements in the region’s calendar attracting over 80,000 visitors each year.
The tennis court is by the courtyard, so nice and convenient. We do have some racquets available, though you will need to bring your own tennis balls and strawberries! 🍓
Heated Indoor Pool
The swimming pool at Moorleaze is very popular with guests of all ages.
It is 16m long and 1.2m deep and is heated to approximately 30C. There are loungers around the pool, showers and changing rooms. We also have an Infra-red sauna for guests to use.
There are open sessions in the pool for all guests to use at 9-10am and 6-7pm and a rota system for the rest of the day, with each cottage enjoying the pool privately for an hour.

Tickets are now available for this year’s Festival Of Lights, which promises to be another exceptional display.
From 10th November to 7th January 2024, the lanterns will be glowing for your entertainment, along with the Enchanted Christmas Tree show, Longleat’s house light show, the Santa train, festive house tours and the winter drive-through safari.
After a wonderfully festive experience at , head back to the warmth and comfort of your Moorleaze cottage to enjoy a hot chocolate or glass of wine, a well earned steam and sauna and some cozy family time.

Spring is in full swing and Somerset has been carpeted in woodland flowers. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by bluebells but we aren’t the only ones enjoying their glorious colour!
At Longleat, the lions get to roam through the beautiful flowers. Not quite the scene you would expect but magical nevertheless, so regal and Nania-esque.
