Busy weekend for us both; Joanne Powell will be playing the fabulous Christie at Harworth (DN11 8EF) for the Saturday dance this coming weekend (22nd), I’ll be at Messingham Village Hall (nr Scunthorpe) for their dance 7.30pm, then I’ll be playing the concert at Harworth on the Christie at 2.30 pm on Sunday (23rd) before heading down the A1 to play the dance at the Braza Club in March, Cambs (PE15 8NZ) @ 7.30 pm. Looking forward!

Monday 27th Polish Club Scunthorpe (private party/dance 1.15 pm), Wednesday 29th, Stockingford Pavilion, Nuneaton CV10 8LT (sequence/modern ballroom dance 1.15 pm), Thursday 30th, Hazel Grove Bowls/Tennis Club SK7 4JG (concert for Stockport Organ Club 7.30 pm), Friday 31st May The Methodist Church Hall, North Street, South Molton, EX36 3AW (concert for South Molton Keyboard & Light Music Club 7.30 pm) & Saturday 1st June, Scarborough Fair Collection Flower Of May Holiday Park, YO11 3NU (with Joanne Powell concert and dance on Wurlitzer & electronic 1.30 pm). Hope to see some of you around. :)

FINAL FEW rooms remaining for our Christmas and New Year themed weekend at Warwick; 17th - 20th November at the fabulous 4* Delta By Marriott Warwick/Stratford Upon Avon Hotel. 3 minutes drive from the M40 and A46, easy access to both historic Warwick and Stratford, superb recently refurbished bedrooms, all-you-can-eat hot/cold buffet, plentiful safe and free car parking, good disabled access and lifts. A stunning line up of stars who will include of course some seasonal favourites to whet your appetite for the end of the year! These are Andrew Nix, John Cooper, Michael Wooldridge, Glyn Madden along with our own Pete Shaw and hosts Chris & Joanne Powell. Double or twin rooms £330, double with single occupancy £365 (half board). Extra nights for before and after are priced at £140 based on 2 people sharing, Including breakfast and evening meal. For those in Lincs, don’t forget that myself and Joanne will be doing a special duet show tomorrow night (Tuesday 24th) at the Naval Club, Coulson Rd, Lincoln @ 7.30pm. Polkas, swing, Latin, show tunes and of course plenty of romantic music ahead of Valentine’s Day!
