Market going ahead and shops and cafes open til 8pm in Girvan 😄

The Girvan Christmas Market is going ahead tomorrow, Saturday 7th December. We'll be tucked up under cover in the big marquee at Stumpy Corner, all cosy together with Mulled Wine, Mince Pies, Stalls, Raffles, Tombola, The Girvan Choir and Christmas cheer. Weather forecast is saying it should be dry by 4pm when we start. So come join us!

Worth a punt (there's a limited number of tickets) 🤞

We've been given a very special prize by William Grants for the Christmas Market, so we thought we'd give it its own raffle. Tickets are at The Sweetie Shop and will be at the Christmas Market as well. Draw will be at the market at 7pm on Saturday.

That's about half of our shops and cafes staying open with the Christmas Market till 8pm. Thank you Go Girvan for organising this.
I've heard the Stinchar Valley community bus is running a special service round the villages to bring people in and take them home at 8.15pm after the market.
Sounds like there's lots to come into town for!

It will be interesting to see what happens next 😉 We await with baited breath - I can only bait my breath for so long 🥴. I guess then it's just waiting 🙄

We’ve extended the Conservation Area in Girvan to help protect and enhance many of the town’s key buildings.

The extended area now includes additional sections of Dalrymple Street, Bridge Street, Henrietta Street, and High Street.
