Dear Customer,
** LATEST TRAVEL ADVICE FROM THE PORTUGUESSE GOVERNMENT PLEASE READ**
This weekend the Portuguese Government announced more restrictive measure to be applied from 00:00 of next Wednesday (4th November), only to the municipalities with 240 or more cases p/ 100.000 inhabitants of the last 14 days.
Please find below the list of affected municipalities and their new restrictions.
*Madeira and Azores do not have any municipality affected.
Limitations:
• Duty to stay at home. Citizens should refrain from circulating in public spaces, except for the group of authorized trips already informed to which are now added trips for activities carried out in day centres, to visit users in residential structures for the elderly, integrated continuous care units of the National Integrated Care Network or other responses dedicated to elderly people, as well as trips to post offices, banks, insurance companies and the need to leave Portugal mainland;
• As a rule, all retail and service establishments, as well as those inside malls, have to close until 22:00;
• Restaurants are to be closed until 22:30;
• It is foreseen that the mayor of the municipality with territorial authority can set a closing time below the maximum limit established, subject to a favourable opinion from the local health authority and security forces;
• The ban on holding celebrations and other events with more than five people, unless they belong to the same household;
• The ban on holding fairs and uprising flee markets,
• The possibility of holding religious ceremonies, according to the rules of the General Health Authorities;
• The obligation to adopt the homeworking regime;
• When homeworking is not possible, companies shall adjust their timetable in order for staff members not to enter and leave all at the same time
