This October, our team is heading to stunning Sorrento, Italy, for an exciting 3-day training and networking event as part of our InteleTravel ITQ. Thinking of visiting Sorrento yourself? Here are some top travel tips to help you make the most of your trip!

1. Best Time to Visit
Shoulder seasons (April to June, September to October): The weather is warm but not scorching, and crowds are smaller. July and August can be very crowded and hot.

2. Getting Around
Walking: Sorrento is compact, and most sites are accessible on foot. Wear comfortable shoes, as the streets can be steep and cobbled.
Public Transport: Use the Circumvesuviana train to visit nearby places like Pompeii and Naples. Buses and ferries are also available to explore the Amalfi Coast, Capri, or Ischia.
Driving: If you plan to rent a car, be cautious. The roads along the Amalfi Coast are narrow and winding. Parking can also be challenging.

3. Day Trips
Capri: Take a ferry to the island of Capri, known for its luxury, Blue Grotto, and beautiful views.
Pompeii and Herculaneum: Explore these ancient cities preserved by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.

When is the best time to visit?
The best time to visit is November to April, when the weather is dry and sunny.

Resort transfer:
Book seaplanes in advance as they’re the main way to reach remote resorts. Speedboats are usually arranged by the resort for nearby transfers. Check weight limit for seaplane before booking with luggages.

Travelling from the UK:
UK visitors get a free 30-day visa on arrival.
