Iron Travel LTD announces the launch of a new direct route connecting London (LGW) with Havana (HAV) and Holguín (HOL) in Cuba, starting
April 11, 2025. This new service will operate on a weekly basis, offering passengers an
affordable and convenient journey to the Caribbean Island aboard a modern Airbus
A340-600, providing 26 Business Class seats and 302 Economy Class seats.
INAUGURAL FLIGHT AND SCHEDULE
The inaugural flight from London to Havana, operated by Iron Travel and TRIPLATAM,
is scheduled for departure on Friday, April 11th, 2025, from Gatwick Airport (LGW)
at 11:30h, arriving at Havana at 16:30h (local time). The return flight leaves Havana at
23:00h, landing in London the next day at 13:45h. From this date forward, the flight
will be available every Friday with the same schedule. Additionally, the LondonHolguín route will be launched on Sunday, April 13th, with weekly service. This flight
will depart from Gatwick (LGW) at 11:00h and will arrive at Holguín Airport (HOL), in
eastern Cuba at 16:00h (local time). Return is scheduled 20:00h same day, arriving at
Gatwick at 11:00h the following day.
TRAVEL EXPERIENCE AND FARES
Business Class (JC) fares for the London-Havana and London-Holguín routes start at
£999.99 one-way and £1899.99 round-trip. This includes two 20 kg checked bags,
one 8 kg carry-on, and an additional 5 kg bag. Economy Class (YC) fares begin
at £275.99 one-way and £549.99 round-trip, including one 20 kg checked bag.
Iron Travel also offers “light” options for travelers who prefer hand luggage only, with
discounts on checked bags and the possibility to add a second 20 kg bag for an extra
£100.00 on Economy flights. For added comfort, Economy passengers can reserve
front-row seats for £73.99.
FLEXIBILITY AND CONDITIONS
Fares will be available soon in GDS with limited seats. Iron Travel allows passengers to
make date changes with a £100.00 fee or request refunds with a £150.00 fee up to
10 days before departure. Special discounts apply for children and infants, who may
bring a carry-on of up to 10 kg.
