Knightswood Toddler Group is a community playgroup run by volunteers. We provide a safe and friendly place for babies, toddlers and their carers to meet and play. Below is some basic information about this group and how it operates:
Location:
Knightswood Congregational Church, please use Killoch Drive entrance (through the double gates) and press the intercom for Memorial hall. Holidays:
Unless
otherwise notified we will be closed during the West Glasgow School Holidays. Fees:
A daily fee of £1.50 per child is payable, discounts are given for subsequent children and there is no charge for under 1's. Refreshments:
Tea/Coffee and Biscuits are provided for adults at a charge of 50p. Milk,toast,fruit and snacks are provided for the children as part of their entry fee. Activities:
Every day a wide selection of toys including bikes, cars, scooters, slides, dolls, prams etc are brought out for the children to play with. When there is interest we have arts & crafts workshops, song time, story time, healthy eating workshops etc. If you attend and you feel that the facilities or toys that your child would benefit from are not available please let us know as we only bring out a selection of toys so it may be that we have what you are looking for or are able to get it. In addition to our normal sessions we have various parties throughout the year such as a Halloween and Christmas Party. Assistance:
As we are a community group everybody "chips in" to help to set up the hall, make snacks, wash dishes, clear up etc. We are also always looking for someone to lead story time or song time so feel free to volunteer. If you have any questions please contact us by DM.
