Hello SNP members in Lothians, I’m Graham Campbell. Today I’m announcing my intention to stand on the Lothians list for Holyrood.

We all know that Independence is what will transform our country. But why do we want Independence? It gives us the full powers to tackle poverty and inequality and to create a fairer more equal society based on economic and environmental justice.

To GET IT we need to change more people's minds.

I have strong links to many of the marginalised and minority communities across Scotland. I am uniquely well-placed to reach out to and convince them to vote YES in the next referendum.

If you’re an SNP member in Lothians please support me to do that.

UPDATE - thanks everyone who got in touch. Paula has now got the contact details for his next of kin. We will update once she knows where his last resting place is.

Does anyone know this man? Until he recently passed away he lived at St George's Cross in Glasgow. His name is Gladstone Mitchell but was also known as Lewis Mitchell.

He was Jamaican by birth.

He used to drink in The Halt Bar.

A friend of his (pictured) has been in touch with us because she had tried to contact him not realising he had passed away. She now wants to be able to visit his grave because she says he was, for many years, like a father to her. Can anyone help?

Please message us if you know anything about him.

Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic Scots - important meeting this Monday 8th June

In my capacity as National BAME Convener for the SNP, I am hosting a meeting for SNP politicians to LISTEN to people from BAME communities in Scotland.

It will be online, on Monday evening (8th June) at 6.30pm and all you have to do to register is email me on [email protected].

The purpose is for BAME people to tell MPs, MSPs and Councillors anything they want them to know. And for those politicians to listen which they are very keen to do.

Our first 2 MPs and MSPs to confirm attendance are:

Anne McLaughlin SNP Glasgow North East MP
Kirsten Oswald MP
Ivan McKee MSP
Christina McKelvie MSP Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse

Many more are getting in touch. Don't miss this important opportunity to get the ear of policy makers in Scotland.

Best wishes,

Graham Campbell
