Driver has just phoned in, he's stuck in traffic heading into Kilsyth so is running very late.

We're not sure what's causing the hold up, possibly temp lights.

🚌 1st day of new service run GR1 ...
Completed it mate ✅

*Successful first day, we still have approx 20 seats to fill both morning and afternoon. Please encourage your children to make use of this service so we can keep it going for the long haul 😁

We have had a few Young Scot Cards not working, please make sure your child gets a new one. We're giving everyone a grace period this week as we're fully aware there will be teething problems. 90% of cards worked today so we're confident it's not our equipment 👍

💳 A child's fare is £3.00 and this is contactless payment only.

**Commencing 21/10/2024**

New Service route GR1 - Blackwood/Smithstone to Greenfaulds High School.

We have tried to keep the route the same as the old school contract route but unfortunately the SPT have not officially adopted the bus stop at Cailhead Dr so the nearest stop to there is Hopepark Dr. We also cannot drop off/pick up within the school grounds therefore we have opted to drop off/leave from the bus stop on the glasgow Rd, Southbound (towards glasgow).

This is a completely contactless service, a major credit/debit cards are accepted 💳
Concession Cards are also accepted.

🛑School children MUST have their Young Scot Card with them to travel.

🚌 New service Route coming soon 🚌

** GR 1 **

Blackwood/Smithstone area to Greenfaulds High School.

Start date : 21/10/24

This will be a contactless service only and young Scot travel cards will be accepted.

I have attached a timetable and roadside advertising at bus stops will follow.

We are currently negotiating fare prices, once we have that locked down, we will update on here.

*Please note that as this is a service run, we can no longer drop off/pick up in the school grounds.
We have opted to drop off/pick up at the Greenfaulds High bus stop on Glasgow Road for easier access to the school.

* This is also a 1st come, 1st served basis, once the bus is full we can no longer take anymore passengers. The bus will have a capacity of 83, with no standing.

🚍 Home to School Transport 🚍

⭐ We are currently in the early stages of applying to run a service route from Blackwood/Smithstone to Greenfaulds High School.
Doing it this way allows the kids to use their young Scot travel card.

⭐ Unfortunately as service work is a new area for us and application process is a lengthy one.
We are also waiting on ticket machines being supplied and fitted to allow us to offer concession travel.
Due to the time needed for applications, this is something that won't be in place for the beginning of the school term.

⭐We will update everyone with a start date as soon as we have it approved.

⭐ If successful, we will also consider routes from Carrick stone, Westerwood, Cumbernauld Village, Abronhill to Cumbernauld Academy & OLHS in the future.

Massive round of applause 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 For each and everyone of you that travelled on our coaches to Murrayfield and managed to find your way back to us 🎉🎉

With over 400 of you guys traveling with us, it's been our biggest concert to date 😅
