Hi all! I’m finally back after taking some time away from genealogical work this past year. I’m not currently taking on any new research but will be back at it again next year. Feel free to get in touch with any requests or questions though.
Meanwhile, I’ve started a new project producing framed paper cuts, from family trees to name meanings. Introductory price of £20 plus p&p in the lead up to Christmas.

Hi all. I've had a couple of requests from people I have no way of contacting directly asking for an address and my price range. I work from home so don't give out my home address publicly. Also if you send me a private message either on here or at [email protected] I'll be able to get back to you with my general price list or give you a direct quote based on the work required. Thank you :)

I'm quite excited about this....

"A complete record of the deaths of Scottish seafarers from late Victorian times until 1974 are now available to search on ScotlandsPeople.

The 14,000 new records are monthly returns of the Deaths of Seamen , which list Scots along with other crew members of all nationalities who were serving on British-registered vessels between 1909 and 1974. Amongst the new entries are William M Murdoch, the Dalbeattie-born officer First Officer who died on the fateful maiden voyage RMS Titanic in 1912, and John Thompson, a seaman from Annan, who perished aged just 15 on the Lusitania, torpedoed by the Germans in 1915.

Read the full news release on these fascinating new records."
