Caledonia Paranormal Investigation Team Despite many years of field experience we would never consider ourselves 'experts'. We are a constant quest to improve our skills & knowledge.

Formerly Coatbridge Paranormal Investigation Team, the new CPIT emerged and evolved from this incarnation, with original and founding members Scott Leckie and Stevie Conlin continuing the work, bringing in a few new team mates along the way, Caledonia Paranormal has been investigating within the field for around 12 years. Over the years, the team has investigated a wealth of Scotland’s most haunt

ed locations from Castle Menzies in Aberfeldy to Provan Hall House in Easterhouse to Niddrie Vaults in Edinburgh, Abbot House in Dunfermline, Inveraray Jail, Scotland's Secret Bunker, Gilmerton Cove as well as local places of repute such as Airdrie Library, the former site of Coatbridge’s McLaren’s Morgue and The West End Bar in Bank Street. This will continue to be our aim, to conduct investigations within our local area as well as venturing to places of interest and where there are alleged hauntings within Scotland and indeed the whole of the UK. We are are interested in many aspects of the Paranormal, primarily hauntings but also mysterious occurances, UFOs as well as history, mythology and folklore too. We may have a wealth of experience within the Team which we think is beneficial but we would never claim to be experts, we consider ourselves to be always learning, always seeking answers and in terms of our approach we have a healthy mix of believers, sceptics and neutrals on the team which encourages sometimes heated debate and allows us to thoroughly analyse potential evidence. We try to be open minded and objective, we try to debunk where possible and approach investigations and the locations and people involved with respect. While we take the investigations seriously and like to bring a professionalism to our work we also bring our own personalities to it as well, we like to have fun too! We are just a group of Scottish laddies and lassies who love the Paranormal, we don't pretend to be anything else. This started with two brothers who had a fascination with the Paranormal and continues now to this day with a close group of friends who all share the same passion and curiosity. We are a team but we are a family first. The team consists of Scott, founding member and team co ordinator, Stevie, ditto, Tracy, Janet, Stephen, Steph and Colin, who may no longer be with us this side of life but will always be a member of this team and this family. We are open to working with other teams and investigators as well and hope to do more of this in the future. Please note we are no longer able to do private household investigations. A week tomorrow we return to Provanhall House for our first investigation in a long time. We know things have been quiet lately and we have had a little bit of a break but we are heading back out to one of our favourite old haunts.
