Merry Yule and Hapoy Solstice from Chalice Well✨
A wonderful dressing of the well head as usual 🙏🏻 The volunteers excel themselves for every celebration of the turning of the wheel, holding ceremony, meditation, fire and refreshments!

Free entry from 10am on celebration days and meditation at noon by the well head followed by a community fire and coffee and cake ☕️🔥🎂 ✨🙌🏻

Often musicians playing round the fire throughout the year including if you are lucky enough to catch his Celtic harp 🎶

Running a retreat?
The furniture can be moved around to make space for circle time etc in the dining room, or more popular is the conservatory space overlooking the mature garden with ancient apple tree 🍎

Having been a traditional bed & breakfast in a previous guise, Tree of Life House is amply equipped for catering en-mass.. from multiple tea and coffee pots to a large dining table for 10.. making it perfect for retreat hosting or for multi generational family get together breaks 🙂

Important to note if you want to bring your own pots is that the hob is an INDUCTION hob so needs special pots… there are several large and multiple sized ones and also multiple frying pans .. a slow cooker and small food processor are in situ..

Slate table mats to dress the table along with several party platter serving dishes and lots of cutlery .. oh and all importantly.. a dishwasher and oven with separate warming drawer .. and last but not least - a wine chiller 🥂🍾

Ps- take-aways close quite early in Glastonbury - even the famous so best to be prepared and bring food to cook if you like to eat later … it’s not like a city.. remember what it was like before Deliveroo? - my visiting offspring will back this up having tried to scroll Uber Eats late at night recently and all I had as a back up was 🥕🤐

Room 5 - is on the ground floor, perfect for those who don’t want to negotiate the stairs and be near the kitchen.

If you are running a retreat at Tree of Life House - this is your room! You are able to bolt the door of the kitchen making this effectively your ground floor flat along with the conservatory, giving others access to the dining room only until you are ready for your guests to join you in the morning - or you are ready to serve breakfast 🍳

King sized bed, large wardrobes, large drawers, bedside tables and a private en-suite with large freestanding bath, huge walk in shower and WC. Heated towel rails x2.

All rooms have privacy bolts on the inside, TV, bedding, towels, hairdryer, plug in heater, cooling fan, fleece blankets, suitcase stands, hangers.
