If there is one thing I've learned with my journey with Brigid, it is to have compassion, to not judge, but to hold in as much love as I can, that what is...

As co-organiser of The Goddess Conference I have learned that it is so easy to make mistakes. Even if you have the best intentions, or try to support a group of people... Decisions can have unforeseen and unmeant consequences...

In the Luminary leader training I have learned to listen, to be accountable, to take responsibility and if possible take right action.

I have great compassion for the trustees of the The Chalice Well, who have shown they listen and have shown accountability for their mistake. I also have compassion for the difficult situation they are in, where it is impossible to fulfil everybody's concerns and points of view.

I trust that the beautiful energy behind the outpouring of devotion and love for both the Chalice Well Gardens and the Mother and Child statue, will inspire to a graceful outcome!

I truly do love the Chalice Well and respect all the people who work there and are trustees, some of them are even good friends of mine...

This doesn't however mean that I always have to agree with their decisions and this is one of them...

I do understand the interfaith intention and I do know of the history of the artist who made the original statue (this is however a replica!) - but I myself as so many others (for instance all pilgrims who come on my tours) come to this place, close to the sacred source to bring offerings, light a candle and say a prayer or give gratitude...

Please sign the petition and bring this beautiful symbol, which could be as much Isis with Horus, Mother Earth or any other interpretation of healthy, loving motherhood...

REVIEW 2023:

De reis vond ik vooraf nog best spannend zo alleen. Maar wat ben ik blij dat ik het gedaan heb🙏. Het voelde als een pelgrimstocht. En hoe dichter ik bij Iona kwam hoe meer ik me al verbonden voelde met mijzelf. Juist omdat ik het alleen had gedaan. De natuur was prachtig.
En dan op Iona....
Geen andere woorden voor dan geweldig❤️
Er wachte me een warm welkom door Marion en haar man die me ophaalde van de ferry. De hele week hebben we een stralende blauwe lucht gehad☀️. De begeleiding van de retraite was heel natuurlijk, ontspannen, respectvol. Dagelijks waren er rituelen die de retraite diepgang gaven. Iedereen in de groep maakte zo zijn eigen reis. Want wat is het daar rustig en mooi. Ik ging met vertrouwen en inzichten💡💡💡weer richting huis. Het heeft mij erg goed gedaan.
