Our door is open to guests and their dogs all year round. The yurt is full insulated with a beautiful thick wool lining, insulated floor and of course, the wonderful woodstove. There are also hot water bottles and an extra duvet if you are like me and need an electric blanket in a house with thick walls and heating! Fairy lights, full Solar lighting, books, games, a hob for cooking inside and some brilliant pubs in nearby villages for a good Sunday roast and locally sourced ingredients.

Beautiful image by Tangled Musesduring a winter stay, eco dying the paper over the outdoor fire using earth and plants from the land. I'm not a fan of the darker nights and trying to remind myself of the magic in the darker months by the fireside. Books, art, crafting, and music, as well as a good wine and an early cosy night, and hopefully some great clear starry skies.

I had forgotten how beautiful Sept is! Stars and bountiful Berry harvests. The wonderful light and smell of the earth. Goldfinches are loving the knapweed seed in the meadow and we have a resident fox!

Yes!!! Wytches' Market delighted to have a good day! I feel that the shortest day is definitely just around the corner. Am off to bed with a gin now at 8pm😅 after all the flooding, rain and illness..being land based self employed in winter takes balls r madness I reckon and I'm starting to feel a tad too old but the lovely customer's today helped no end.

In a very happy place making this Violet leaf, Mugwort and Carrot seed Aloe Seaweed Eye Gel.

Violet leaf essential oil is wonderful for the skin and the aroma is so earthy, mossy and very much of the fairy realm!

I love to use slow infused Mugwort oil in my skin products and this Aloe Seaweed Gel with Witch Hazel carries it so well. This gel is delicious to use on the face and body as well as extremely rehydrating tierd under eyes.
