When I get a chance I love to sit in our wildlife hide and watch the woodland birds coming and going. It’s very relaxing for the mind and soul. I really don’t mind what I see just being in thier world for a while

Veg garden in full summer ish glory. Had a bumper crop of onions this year will I will dry off in the poly before storing. And just planted some Christmas potatoes so will be interesting to see what we get. Now just need some sunshine

What I love about growing your own food is the cycle of the plants. Yes you harvest and eat what you grow but the plants themselves become mulch and compost for the years to come

It’s that time of year again to get cosy #woodburner is fired up

Since installing our #solarpanels and batteries it’s been wonderful to see great generation even on cloudy days. Yes some days are much better but we are averaging in November 30% #offgrid and our best day so far has been 50%. Roll on springtime
