After finishing my Uniform Public Services course, I decided that I wanted to venture into a completely different field of work than what I had planned. I've always had an interest in events and planning and so when the opportunity to join Redblaze came around I jumped for it! I'm now working as a Project Manager and am enjoying learning new things about this industry every day.

Throwin' it back this with a trip to 'Auld Reekie' - Edinburgh🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Through our 25 years of business, we have enjoyed organising a variety of events in Scotland, one of which taking place in Scotlands stunning capital city.

The event itself? An incentive recognition programme where 3 different winning groups travelled to Edinburgh for 2-nights in the Scottish capital. Guests enjoyed the freedom of choice on the first day, taking part in a variety of activities including a walking tour of the city or a trip to Arthurs Seat.

Winners enjoyed a private dinner within the castle walls, where the Red Hot Chili Pipers, a kilted band showcasing bagpipe versions of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, made an awesome appearence. The group were then treated to an outside performance of the Beating Retreat, taking place across the wide courtyard of Edinburgh Castle...

MEET THE TEAM! Please welcome... Emma Grayson👋

🌏BACKGROUND
My career began planning corporate events in the hotel industry after completing my degree in Events Management. Over the past 6 years I have gained experience in a variety of different sectors within the events and project industry, ranging from construction projects in the Middle East to major sporting events like Rugby World Cup and England Cricket tours. In 2022, I was a Project Manager at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games which was a career highlight for me and a great experience to be part of.

❤️LOVES – anything savoury like crisps or biscuits! I am a big fan of sports, especially netball.

💔HATES – slow drivers!

🗒BUCKET LIST
My bucket list revolves slightly around watching live sport, so I’d love to visit Australia and watch the Ashes or the Netball Super League. I’d also like to go and see the F1 in Monaco or Singapore.

✈️FAVOURITE DESTINATIONS
My favourite destination is Sorrento, Italy. I’ve visited a few times, and it never gets boring! The food is amazing, and the local people are so friendly.

🌍 BACKGROUND

Former Support Worker during the days of Covid, transitioning into an Acquisition Runner in the TV industry, working alongside some big names including the BBC & Silverback Films. Sensing a needed change to another creative industry, I found events and since then, haven’t looked back.

🗒️ BUCKET LIST

Mt. Fuji in Spring is likely at the top, although it seems the list grows bigger every day. I’m a sucker for a drive, so a trip through Europe with my partner in a quick convertible would be up there too.

❤️ LOVES – Films. In front of and behind the camera. Music. From Blues to East Coast Hip Hop. Sport. Mostly football. Manchester United fan I’m afraid to mention. Cooking & Food. Asian being my favoured choice.

💔 HATES - Fussy food eaters. Other hates include Oysters, Mussels, Cauliflower, Grapefruit, Cockles…

✈️ FAVOURITE DESTINATION

My personal favourite? Jamaica. Warm and friendly people with awesome food. Honourable mentions to Dublin, Madeira, Prague & Krakow. UK wise, I’m a sucker for Brighton.

to an event that took place on year 23 of our Red Blaze journey. Stepping into Red Blaze's , it felt right to bring out a big one...

Our team had the pleasure of supporting one of our Digital Wholesale clients with a fully branded and neon themed networking event, naming it... Wunderground!

➡️Over 250 guests across the IT, Software, Mobile & Tech industries enjoyed a fun and lively networking environment.

➡️Attendees were well stocked for food and drink, including a unique addition of edible mist orbs (it does exactly what it says).

➡️Roaming magicians helped capture the magic.

➡️Helped by the always illuminating LED dancers.

➡️The night was finally complete with Scott Mills signing off the event, filling the dancefloor.

🌍 BACKGROUND

My career has been diverse, spanning industries such as retail, mortgages, healthcare, timber, and more. Prior to joining Red Blaze, I spent nearly seven years in the professional sports travel events industry, where I gained an extensive knowledge and experience in both travel and sporting events. I am now further building on this in to the Corporate Events sector at Red Blaze!

🗒️ BUCKET LIST

The list is honestly never ending; New Zealand, South America, more of Europe, Canada, the whole of Asia… but I would love to travel more in America to take in the variety of differing cultures around the country. As well as (should I even mention this?!) going to Walt Disney World, which has been on my wish-list as long as I can remember!!

❤️ LOVES – Travel, Aerial Hoop, Yoga

💔 HATES – Rain!!! Secrets. Poor customer service. Negativity.

✈️ FAVOURITE DESTINATION

In the UK it has to be the Isle of Wight, it just has a magic about it. Elsewhere, you cannot beat Sydney, Australia. Having travelled there several times before moving there in my twenties, and then working there again over The Ashes in 2017/18, it holds a special space in my heart. You really cannot beat the vibrant city with the breath-taking Blue Mountains to the West and iconic beaches to the East.

Inspired by the client’s vision, it recreated the cosy charm of Friends’ Central Perk with themed décor, a delicious breakfast spread, and Grind coffee.
