We had a wonderful couple of trips out of Fishguard this week on our Strumble head voyage.

We were joined on our trips by some of the interns from Sea Trust, and also a playful pod of Common Dolphin, who were busy feeding in the harbour, before interacting with our vessel, as we headed out toward Strumble Head Lighthouse. 🐬

Next stop Fishguard!
Shearwater has been relaunched and is currently waiting for her mooring to be serviced then she will be returning to Fishguard for the season! We have had a few delays in getting her ready, but she’s now raring to go and ready for the Whitsun break. Our first trips are scheduled for Monday 27th and you can book on line via the link below.

Humpy’s Journey!

From our sightings, your sightings, and reports off our sightings page Pembrokeshire Porpoise, Whale & Dolphin Sightings we have made a small poster showing where the humpback whale was seen in and around Fishguard!🐋

The humpback was mainly seen in the Fishguard Bay from the inner breakwater, outer breakwater, the fort, and from Harbour Village over 8 days!

First seen on the 19th January 2024 and last seen on 27th January 2024 🌊
