Alverstoke Garden Walkabout Alverstoke residents are opening their gardens to visitors on Sat 17 and Sun 18 June 2023. Alverstoke residents are opening their private gardens to visitors.

There are 14 different gardens to enjoy, plants to buy, tea and cake to sample, in addition to the parish centre. There's even a Pimms tent planned. Who doesn't love a good old nosey around someone's garden! Booking is now open. Tickets can be purchased from the Parish centre, the village hardware store, Queen's Parade news and Gosport Tourist Information Centre. 📣📣😃This Thankful Thursday we would like to say a massive heartfelt thank you to our whole community after our allotment was vandalised last week.

The kindness and generosity has been amazing, it really does show how brilliant our community can be.

Thank you to Alverstoke Village Hardware Home Pet & Garden on donating all the handheld tools, gloves that were stolen and new runner beans to start growing again
To veteran Paul and wife Grace donating rakes, spades, and watering cans.

Veteran Ian donating £100 to get the produce we lost growing again.

The in pour of phones calls and messages offering time and tools to fix the damage has been remarkable from all the team at Gosport and your local veterans thank you🥰.

We couldn’t of turned it around this quick without the community support.
