Costa Rican cuisine, with its focus on fresh, local ingredients, offers a bounty of vegan-friendly options. Here are some must-try dishes that I have had the pleasure to try during my travels:

1. Gallo Pinto: The national dish of rice and beans is naturally vegan and utterly scrumptious! 🍚🫘

2. Patacones: These crispy, twice-fried plantain slices are a moreish treat. 🍌

At Finca Sura, a diverse array of fruits, herbs and spices thrive under the care of dedicated farmers who prioritise sustainability and natural growing methods 🌱. By eschewing the use of pesticides and fertilisers, they ensure that their produce is not only delicious but also free from harmful chemicals.

During my , I had the privilege of hearing directly from one of the farmers about their pineapple cultivation 🍍
