One of my clients recently came back from a cruise on a lesser known cruise line. This is what he had to say
“Some while ago I asked Ann Dorian to see if she could find me a Greek Island Cruise for the 'current' summer . After a couple of failed attempts Ann found me a cruise that really suited me with Celestyal Cruises ( recently featured on the STV Jane McDonald goes cruising ). The price suited my budget and I booked the cruise . It was on a small ship ( 24,000 tonnes ) called Celestyal Chrystal and I had a large cabin on deck 7 . The cruise went to Mykonos , Milos , Santorini , Crete and Kudadasi . ( mainland Turkey )It spent more time than most cruise ships in Mykonos and Santorini which was an added benefit . Included in the all inclusive price were all the drinks and meals and an additional 3 on shore excursions . I was also lucky enough to have a 30 minute ' Bridge' tour and got to meet the Captain . The food on the ship was excellent and the passengers were mainly American , Australian and a fair few from the Middle East .... not enough from the UK .... why ? ... because they would rather go on a much 'grander ' cruise ship with all the added attractions .... well Celestyal Chrystal has all of these but on a much smaller scale and there were plenty of children on board being well looked after by the crew .
To summarise this was a great 7 day cruise .... I could find nothing to complain about the crew were friendly helpful and informative the ship old but spotless and clearly refurbed just recently and if anyone reading this would like to tour the Beautiful Greek Islands in a relaxed informal and very friendly atmosphere then this cruise is for you ... Ann Dorian was given a brief by me which unfortunately had to have a change of dates due to a brief hospital visit by me but did it promptly efficiently professionally and without fault and I highly recommend the company Ann represents and the cruises on offer in the Celestyal Cruises brochure .... I have many many great memories from a fault free 7 day cruise with this cruise line .
