Delighted to read this lovely comment in our guest book from this week's guests. Such a pleasure to host them and their gorgeous pooch Antonio who enjoyed lots of long walks!

We are really sorry to say that the very popular and successful Gregory pub in Harlaxton is closed at present - unfortunately the planned new tenant pulled out at short notice last week.

Much loved and enjoyed by many of our guests over the last 10 years, we are sure it will re open soon when a new landlord/landlady is found.

We wish Lucy and all her team well and will keep you posted.

In the meantime, there are many other lovely pubs to enjoy locally, including the Welby Arms in the next village of Denton, The Farrier on Harlaxton Road and The Chequers at Woolsthorpe.

We popped in ourselves when passing this weekend and enjoyed some lovely lunch at the cafe and nice to catch up with old friend Debbie in The Wood Boutique www.thewoodboutique.com So many lovely gift options interior design ideas. Highly recommend a visit for a mooch!
