😍There’s always a great chance of spotting these cheeky chappies in the woods surrounding the town. If you are staying with us, we can point out a few spots where they just might be 😉

This red squirrel almost seems to be posing for the camera - look at the curve on that tail, could it be more perfect?

This shot by .angers.b was taken in Anagach Woods, a perfect place to see these creatures scampering around. You often see young squirrels chasing each other around the tree trunks or stealing nuts from the bird feeders. We love them!

The Cairn Distillery is Gordon & MacPhail’s newest distillery and is located just over 1 mile from Tulach Ard, on the bank of the river Spey.

To reach the distillery on foot from Tulach Ard, you can enjoy a lovely walk through Kylintra woods, then follow the river path all the way to the rear grounds.

There are a number of tour options, and after your tour, you can kick back, relax and enjoy some fine Scottish Tapas and a refreshment in ‘The Gathering’ which overlooks one of Grantown’s most productive fishing pools on the Spey 😎

Spring is such a beautiful season to visit Grantown-on-Spey. The blossoms and daffodils tend to emerge slightly later here than further south — all the more welcome when they do appear and best enjoyed under a crisp blue Highland sky.

With the nights stretching out after winter, we can’t wait for the increasing hours available for outdoor activities. How about biking or walking in Grantown-on-Spey’s Anagach Woods for forest fun, the viewpoints walk for impressive views of the surrounding Cairngorm hills, or perhaps a mosey down by the River Spey? At long last, the snow gods are delivering, and it’s looking good for more snow in the hills for the next week too!🙌🙌

Tulach Ard is ideally located for access to both Cairngorm Mountain and Lecht ski centres.

We have late availability for this coming week and in to March, perfect for a last minute Ski trip in the Cairngorms!☺️❄️❄️⛷🏂

Hi All,

We would like to introduce you to our holiday home rental, Tulach Ard, located in Grantown on Spey within the Cairngorms National Park.

Tulach Ard comprises 3 bedrooms, all with generous ensuites, TV’s and plenty wardrobe space. A laundry room with washer and dryer is also provided upstairs.

The open plan living / dining / kitchen offers a great space to socialise, and opens out to the front garden and front decking via patio doors.

There is off street parking for two cars within the rear courtyard, along with a secure steel shed for storage of up to four bikes.

After taking a couple of months break to welcome our baby boy in to the world, our booking system is now open for 2022. Availability and booking are via our website, or by clicking the ‘Contact Us’ button at the top of the page.
